Anon and I have signed up for http://www.walkforkidscancer.org.au Charity walk at the end of March. This week our training run took us on the coast walk from Coogee to Marboura.

When travelling we love rising early and going on a long walk, watching as a new place wakes up for the day. So we decided to make it a habit when got home after this last trip to Ubud.

Also this year is our year to get healthy and give a bit more to our community so this Charity walk fits the bill and it a great way to discover new pockets of our city

Anon and I have joined our friend Jill Hewett and Team Phoebe.

Read below

"Our family and team are committed to raising much needed funds for kids with cancer. Phoebe was the ambassador for this event last year and did a fantastic job both promoting the event and participating by walking 5km after major surgery to her pelvis. This year Phoebe will be attempting to walk 10km so get behind her and all our team by donating whatever you can and by sharing our page with family, friends and work mates. Phoebe has been through this cancer journey and knows how hard and toxic treatment can be, so if she can raise funds for research into more effective and less toxic treatments, she knows how much better life will be for the kids diagnosed in the future. Thank you all for your support! Team Phoebe If you would like to support me hit the link"

  1. This was a wonderful walk. We walk each morning when travelling for an hour or two – wonderful exercise and a great way to really discover the place we are visiting by getting off the beaten track. Some thought why are we to doing that at home.

The Walk-for-kids-Cancer is not just a wonderful cause, but a great hook to hang some ambitious weight loss and fitness targets on.

If you are interested in doing the walk (can be ‘physical’ or ‘visual’) with us, or backing ‘Team Phoebe’, follow the link and join up with Lorrie or other members of the Team.

Thanks for supporting these incredibly brave kids and their parents and families.
