I remember every minute of the extraordinary concert at the old Hordern Pavilion in Sydney. Forty years ago we got to sit on our bums right under the stage when shooting concerts ….. what a privilege.

Vale BB King and goodnight Lucille

We went to the BB King museum in Mississippi just this year – it was fascinating. Gave a comprehensive history of the civil rights movement as well as an overview of his life. He said that he wished he had a photo of his mother – they were too poor to have a camera or get photoes taken and she died when BB was quite young. An extraordinary man.
