I first met the very very stylish Bronwyn Pipers when she worked at Lee Mathew’s Paddington Store, I walked in and caught sight of Bronwyn and felt immediately comfortable and welcomed. Bronwyn turns heads….because as she says ” I’m never afraid to premier a new look at the supermarket or the local café.”
She has since moved to work in the Marni store in Double Bay.
Bronwyn’s thoughts on Fashion and Life
WHO ARE THE DESIGNERS YOU LIKE?
Marni, Dries Van Note, Easton Pearson, Lee Mathews & Tsumori Chisato
WHAT SORT OF CLOTHES APPEAL TO YOU?
Clothes that are left of fashion.. Classic with a twist pieces.
DO YOU HAVE ANY STYLE ICONS ?
Grace Coddington, Tilda Swinton & Cate Blanchett for their intellectual approach to fashion and their ability to change their head to toe look.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT GETTING OLDER ?
Freedom to live as my conscience dictates..
DO MAGAZINES OR AD CAMPAIGNS TALK TO YOUR GENERATION?
Not so much now.. I like to draw inspiration from street style (the streets of Newtown are a feast) and runway shows . The stylists for some of these shows are as genius as the designers.
HOW DO YOU APPROACH FASHION COMPARED TO YOUR MOTHERS GENERATION?
“I wear everything.. Nothing is saved for best.. I’m never afraid to premier a new look at the supermarket or the local café.”
