The Social Outfit launches 2022 “Wear the Change”

My friends at the Social Outfit launched their annual " Wear the Change Challenge last week at the Powerhouse Museum. It was a wonderful night. The very fabulous and colourful Annabel Crabb was master of ceremonies, other speakers were Deputy Greens leader Meereen Faruqi and the gorgeous designer Bianca Spender.

The night also heralded the start of Refugee Week, both Meereen and Bianca having their very own and personal stories to tell.

The Teal Bomber jacket seemed to be the item of clothing attracting the most attention, and seemed to just walk out the door, even tho, Meereen yelled at one point that she was sure the jacket was green.

Wear The Change is a fundraiser and ethical fashion styling challenge held during Refugee Week 2022.

The campaign raises funds for The Social Outfit’s non-profit community programs supporting women from refugee and new migrant backgrounds with training and employment pathways in the fashion industry.

Join #WearTheChange2022 and wear 1 garment styled in 5 ways over 5 days, from June 20-24 (refugee week).

You will find all you need to know about the challenge HERE.

If you support only one thing this year, make it this one!
