By dry I mean – not raining – we did drink. Sorry for taking a little time to get the Fest posts up… we took the long way home, and I wanted TO BE at Bluesfest not just covering it.
I went to Bluesfest with my mate Col Ryan, with a highlighted program courtesy of Arnold Frollows.
Day one we saw: Rhiannon Giddens, Frazey Ford, Elle King, Graham Nash..the inside of the VIP tent…. a lot of women in feathered headresses and gum boots.
I thought the crowd must have been channeling Kate Moss’s look from Glastonbury … I was assured it would rain …. sure.

Another accessory kids plus headphones…so feathers, gum boots…for us a glass of Rosé.
We found out that Graham Nash had lived with Joni Mitchell, Our House, the song… she buys a vase he lights the fire…its a very very fine house with two cats in the the yard…who knew!

Ah, what a fashion statement ….. but what is with the feathers ? Love the boots and the artists shots ….. Rhiannon Giddens just a fabulous and intriguing look.
And I can personally confirm that Lorrie and her mate Colleen did not have a dry day !
