A couple of weeks ago the chef from Ottolenghi Restaurant Nopi Ramael Scully was at Carriageworks farmers market. Well…. for Ottolenghi tragics, like Alison, her neighbour Anna and myself it was almost to exciting to bare.
We hung on every word watched as he went off the reservation and added things to the Nopi recipes.
It was after observing this group excitement that Stephen, Alison’s husband suggested that the three of us cook a Nopi Sunday lunch.
We would all ask another couple, so a lunch for twelve. The venue
upstairs in their Warehouse and showroom Original Finish.
This is the planning meeting…having decided what to cook we are all sent in various directions …. as usual …… to find the ingredients..
