New York does Christmas. The buildings are wrapped the widow displays are magical and surreal. This year, I found, more surreal than ever.
I dragged Anon up to the top of 5th Ave, I remembered it as a classy display of Chrismas cheer. Saks, Tiffany, Bergdorf Goodman.
But….slap bang in the middle of Tiffany and Gucci is Trump Tower. Police surround the area and ask politely Tiffany, Gucci or Trump tower then you are asked to show your bag and the reality of what had just happened in America sinks in.
This is my take on what America is looking like this Christmas.
