For the past year, we – Save Newtown from WestCONnex have been telling you that the trees we have wrapped in blue ribbon will be destroyed by Mike Baird’s 17 billion road to nowhere WestCONnex. This morning the first trees in Sydney Park are being destroyed.
When is enough, enough Sydney. If you are reading this before 8am come to the corner of Euston Road and Sydney Road and show your support.

More than 1,000 beautiful Paper Bark, Gums and Angophoras are condemned in the St Peters / Euston Road / Sydney Park area in the next 2 months so that the widening of Euston Road can commence before the end of the year. We have seen the carnage on Anzac Parade and Alison Road, Randwick ….. now the madness is with Sydney Park …… Please show your opposition with demonstrations both today at Euston Road (200 metres south from Sydney Park Road and Euston Rd intersection) , and on Wednesday, 12 noon, at Parliament House.
