This must feel like the longest road trip ever...sorry I got sidetracked with other goings on. This is the final leg. From Malacoota to Newtown via the Blue Pool at Bermagui.
I would advise anyone doing this drive to give yourself a little extra time and take the coast road, hours of unspoiled coastline and forest are your reward.
The other reward is the Bermagui Beach Hotel for lunch, then dropping into Otis a cafe/Deli run by the once Ottolenghi Chef Emily Herbert in Kiama...just don't attempt this on a Good Friday at lunch time and expect to find a spot to eat your very delicious food in a park near by. We ended up on a headland 10kms away with a group of touring Chinese students.
