Marché Ave Du President Wilson – Paris

I loved this market, the most incredible produce and wave after wave of the most interesting and I’m guessing wealthy people …. and their dogs. It’s just across the river from the Eiffel Tower, best to get there early because

Marché Ave du Président Wilson is a favorite of the locals, mainly for fresh fruit and veg, but sometimes also for people watching. This is a very likely location to meet one of the celebrity chefs who make Paris the world capital of fine cuisine.

Most restaurants in the city source fresh produce like fish, butter, eggs, and other regional specialties here. There’s also a stand with cooked food if you want to sample something original.

  1. Look, I wouldn’t know my arrondissement from my elbow but my francophile mate David, says it’s the 16th.
