I have been photographing Lilly and Matt Horam and their family since 1999. The children are D'Arcy Jane, 23 yrs, Gentle Charlie 20 yrs, Winter Bluebelle 17yrs, Indri Jai 13yrs, Imajica Pearl 9yrs, Miracle Sorrow Iris 2yrs, the latest addition Sombre Ardens Abraxas 7 mths.
I was working on an exhibition and book for the Sydney Olympics Cultural Festival. The project was called Sydneysiders "The family album of a City" Matt and Lilly were walking down King Street Newtown, ( the home of the Blue Moon Festival ) with D'Arcy and Lilly was pregnant with Gentle Charlie.
The shot for the project was taken after Gentle's birth at their home in the suburban back blocks of Marrickville.
I have photographed them off and on since. Their wedding in the cemetery of St Marks down the road ... at their new home in the Blue Mountains when their is a new addition to the family.
They are dear friends, wonderful people and great parents.

What a fantastic blog post this is. Matt and Lilly are just the most wonderful parents to their beautiful and unique family. 21 years of photographs. How fast time goes by.
