Look I’m not saying La Terrazzo is is the greatest restaurant in Cuba. But it does good Barbecue and it is on the roof top and has good cocktails.
It had a mix of locals – always good in my book – and tourists…..but not too many, which said to me well researched no cruise ship.
Try the smoked pork chops in pineapple sauce, barbecued ribs and grilled octopus are to die for. The grilled sausage doused in spicy mustard sauce is a great starter – so juicy and tasty.
Located in downtown Habana Vieja, on the third floor of the Asturias Society building, once home to one of the exclusive Spanish regional social clubs in Cuba.
It also has a beautiful terrace overlooking the city. The restaurant also has an impressive rum list with multiple offerings from Cuba and the Dominican Republic, including many aged rums.

I am going to disagree here ….. this was one of the best meals I had in Cuba ….. and the position of our table, at the very edge of the balcony and overlooking the city, was spectacular.
This is definitely on my ‘you must go to …..” list if visiting Hacana. BUT make sure you are on the balcony ….. the interior tableware verso, so …
