This news comes c/- of Ms Dasha Ross. A text message yesterday asking if I had heard about the Jac and Jack outlet store in Surry Hills. I was gobsmacked and rang the Jac and Jack store in the Strand Arcade immediately! Yes, they said, that is correct however we don’t advertise the fact! Jac and Jack have one of the best sales ever and I’m usually there day one with my nose pressed to the door, so this is big news a permanent Outlet store. Dash, you’ll be happy to hear, has picked up a very lovely cashmere jumper. If anyone remembers the studio I had in the Silknit building the Outlet is on the Cnrs of Mary and Reservoir Streets… so downstairs..that could have been dangerous!!
The clothes in the shop will constantly turn over so its worth a drop in.
I found this on the world wide web……
Jac + Jack is launching its first outlet in Sydney on Friday, where you’ll be able to get incredible discounts on the label’s signature knits. It’s a temporary store with no confirmed closure date at this stage, so it’d be wise to get in fast.
Located in a converted warehouse in the middle of Surry Hills, the new outlet will carry past-season collections and one-off design samples for up to 70 per cent off. Both menswear and womenswear will be available.
While Jac+ Jack specialises in wardrobe essentials for daily wear (T-shirts, sweaters and tailored trousers), designers Lisa “Jack” Dempsey and Jacqueline Hunt create fabrications that are anything but ordinary. Cashmere, Merino wool and linen make frequent appearances, collection on collection.
The outlet store is Jac + Jack’s seventh retail space, after more than a decade of the label being in business.
Jac + Jack’s pop-up outlet will open on Friday November 10.
Shops 1 and 2, 22-33 Mary Street, Surry Hills …
