Isabella Rossellini forgives Lancome ……sort of

At the age of 44 Isabella Rossellini was dumped by Lancome. Beauty advertising was about the dream, male executives told her, not the harsh reality. Her face would be an unwelcome reminder of the ageing process.

Now at the age of 64 she is back. The CEO of the brand is now a woman, Francoise Lehman. She, no doubt, knows what we have always know and that male executives are learning the hard way…..we buy the products for ourselves not to seduce them.
