Happy Anniversary Slim …. my god …….. 31 years and we are in Paris!
You are a good, courageous ... beautiful man.
I posted this last year..a milestone. Nothing has changed except to say we do not take this relationship for granted. We are at a time in our lives when we hold the shared moments and travels, even the walks around our inner city community that much closer. The anniversary before the last last we were in Ubud, Bali on a self imposed Boot Camp. This image of Slim is at a place that is dear to both of us, Sri Lanka ... different country same simple joys.
We are both so grateful to be able to travel again, anywhere really, but Paris for this anniversary is very special.
Slim is my rock. When a partnership works the parties involved are better together than apart. That is us. We are different, to be sure …..
There is no task that Slim will not doggedly ….. some would say stubbornly …. see through to the bitter end. He reads instructions, drilling down to the most intricate detail. He is numerate in a very impressive way, has a big soft heart, cries easily without embarrassment, loves the smell of chlorine in the morning, would love a dog but owns a cat. He is happiest in a pool with an icy beer and a good book.

So when there is mention of Slim in this blog it is with the greatest love and respect.
We will toast the day searching for a martini for me and steak for him ... XX

Oh my lord ….. indeed 30 glorious years of laughter and tears, highs and lows, amazing shared work and travel experiences, far far too much glorious food – decidedly less Slim this anniversary than at the last – and above all endless love and friendship.
