Back to my roots taking shots at concerts, not quiet. Anon has been doing some research trying to find his ultimate local, as in pub. Extremely taxing work.
The Coopers just down the road is coming very close. Not only does it sell Young Henry’s beer our very own brew, has lovely bistro upstairs it has live music on Wednesday nights from 9pm.
The music is Mitch Anderson and his organic orchestra, last Wednesday night he had singer Gail Page up front, and what a treat. Just by chance we managed to catch her performance on the latest The Voice. This 51 year old can sing the blues.
The Coopers also has Tranny Bingo – Bingo with balls – run by Penny Tration and Tora Hymen on Monday nights, it is Newtown. That very ordinary suburb, according to Duncan Gay the minister for Roads.
