When I lived in London, now 35 years ago, this little shop was my go to for inspiration. I couldn’t afford to buy anything – and still can’t – but Maureen Doherty the Co-owner & Co founder has such a unique … much envied ….and particular eye…… I would always walk away brimming with ideas and desire. Imagine my delight when I made my way to Belgravia to find this little gem still there.
It has no cyber presence.
Maureen, who worked for Issey Miyake for 20 years, has no lable but employs young designers to design for her and then sets them free to experience the real world. She also has a soft spot for fine porcelain bowls, so the interior of this little mews house looks more like an Art Installation than a shop.
