Bridges Restaurant is 800 metres from the Ubud Palace, on western riverside of the Campuhan River, at the end of the two Campuhan Bridges – hence the name. The food is best described as fusion, east meets west and is expensive for Ubud, however the restaurant has a lovely ambiance.
Best tables are at the railing over-looking the river and must be booked.
If it’s a glass of wine you are after this is probably the best place in Ubud, there is a happy hour in the Divine wine bar between 4pm and 6pm. If its something to take away, the wine shop has an excellent selection and the last time we were there, a very knowledgeable young Frenchman to help with that choice.
