THIS IS A REPOST
There is no better way to experience a place than tagging along with a couple of locals, and not JUST locals a couple of women who know where to find the most interesting food, shops and the most fabulous book shop! Thank you Tina and Rae-Anne. Full disclosure, just in case you worry about the level gluttony, we share!
I've decided to devote the rest of the week to our adventures in Potts Point, because even if we only skirted around the interesting edges of the suburb, there is too much to squeeze into one post. As always go to Izzyhaveyoueaten for the inside story of the food.
Poppis is a true local, a community hub that sustained many during the Covid lockdowns. Do not leave the suburb without picking up some pies at Tuckerbox.
The oh so Japanese in feel Primary is another fabulous spot for a Coffee/Chia/Hot Chocolate ... we added a Matcha Donut, but don't feel compelled.
Time for a little retail therapy...check out Axl Bazaar the most wonderful Vintage clothes and bijou jewellery.

We wondered down the hill from Poppies to a fabulous hidden beach at the edge of Bear Park to the Lookout Cafe and had fish tacos for early lunch. This is definitely the place to be to inhale your first coffee of the day along with the intoxicating sea breeze.
If you are lucky you can catch a glimpse of the coolest garage in town, Harry Siedler.
